Light Christian Center – We care about kids!

The Children’s Ministry at Light Christian Center is a place of wonder and discovery as children learn Bible truths, meet new friends and participate in a time of meaningful worship. Our goal for each service is to create an environment that would both be educational and entertaining. We want to capture your child’s imagination, intrigue them and set them on a course of discovery. Students will be exposed to and experience God’s incredible love for them in a way that is real, relevant, relaxed and relational. Our team of trained volunteers is committed to making the church experience an exciting one! We want them to “want” to come back!

With the help of our committed volunteers, Light Christian Center provides a safe environment where children can enjoy great learning and loving relationships from birth through 5th grade. We believe that learning should be fun, so we create a variety of music, art, dramas, and activities. This results in Bible lessons that are age-appropriate, interactive and relevant to today's children. You and your children are invited to visit during any service, and experience our commitment to working with every family in laying a spiritual foundation children can build their lives on.

HeirBorne Nursery A:
(ages 6 weeks through 23 months)
Light Christian Center believes in ministering to the needs of every age group, including our littlest members. While parents enjoy the adult services, they can rest assured that their babies are receiving personal care in a safe and nurturing environment. Our qualified volunteers create a positive church experience that introduces infants to a love for Jesus early on. Nursery classes coincide with all of our regular weekend and mid-week adult services.

HeirBorne classes are designed for our youngest members. The Nursery offers a secure, warm environment where our infants are known, loved and treasured. Each room has age appropriate toys and activities that your child will enjoy and have them excited each time they come. Our Nursery volunteers are here to love and nurture your babies. All they need is their diaper bags with the essentials:

Diapers, wipes, bib, sippy cup, change of clothing, etc in a labeled diaper bag.
If the service you are attending is during your infants feeding time, please bring their bottle and formula.

HeirBorne Nursery B:
(ages 2-3 years)
We know that preschoolers love to learn, which is why each preschool classroom provides interactive learning experiences in a colorful and engaging atmosphere. From illustrated Bible lessons to comical puppet skits, preschoolers learn God's Word in bite-size bits. Age-specific classes coincide with all of our regular weekend and mid-week adult services.

Adventure Kidz
(ages 4 years through 5th Grade)
Adventure Kidz combines high-energy activities with Bible-based teaching for boys and girls age 4 years through 5th grade. A combination of games, interesting puppet characters, and fun-filled songs capture kids' attention while also showing them how to apply God’s word every day of their life.
